Privacy Policy

QR Poker (“the Service”) is operated by Bit2 Pty Ltd (ABN pending), a company registered in Australia.
1. Information we collect
Display name. When you create or join a table you provide a display name. This is stored temporarily in server memory for the duration of the game session and is not persisted after the session ends.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, session duration, and device type. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics.
Server logs. Standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) may be retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes.
2. Information we do not collect
- We do not require account registration, email addresses, or passwords.
- We do not collect payment information — the Service uses virtual chips only.
- We do not use cookies for tracking. Session tokens are stored in your browser’s local storage and are not shared with third parties.
3. How we use your information
Information collected is used solely to operate the game (matching players to tables, maintaining game state) and to improve the Service through aggregate analytics.
4. Data retention
Hand session data (player names, hands, chip counts) is held in server memory only and is automatically discarded when the table is closed or after a period of inactivity. We do not maintain a persistent database of game history.
5. Third-party services
- Google Analytics — anonymous usage statistics.
- Amazon Web Services — infrastructure hosting (Sydney region).
- IP geolocation data powered by DB-IP — used only at request time to suggest a default language; never logged.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any other third parties.
6. Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
